Opinion. Do you use Creative Commons to protect your work?

Hi, I'm getting some requests to upload versions of my song(s) for others to access.

I want ppl to be able to listen, sample, remix and share.

Any advice. I'm currently reading up on th CC licences,

and I really just don't want to get ripped off by a mega company making billions from my work, with out paying. (shruggs sholders) Like ackey-breaky-heart, and Get a hair cut and get a real job.

Any advice appreciated.

Have you considered joining apra and registering your songs with them.

 I'm an APRA member and havent had to use them for anything legal yet
but I the band I was in only this year got a royalty cheque for 1 of our
songs beng played on Spanish TV a couple of times and if it wasn't for
APRA we'd have no idea what happened.
