hey everyone, this is my first post, and i have a slight problem. About a month ago i bought a brand new les paul custom (gibson). I have found whenever i play this guitar with high gain (through either of my amps), and the guitar volume all the way up, i get a really loud squealing noise. this does not happen with any of my other guitars. i can stop it by winding back the guitar volume to about 6, but this is a pain. My main amp is a Marshall Artist 3203 - 30 watt. I dont run any distortion pedals, i just use the amp distortion. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Ben,

Welcome  the site! It would be difficult to quantise this problem without hearing an example. Are you able to capture an example of it?

Cheers,

Nick.

Sounds like a warranty problem because if you open the guitar and try to fix it the warranty
would be void because it wasn't certified.  For me I'd shoot it straight back to the place of purchase
unless you bought it Overseas then it's a different story.
Nice amp too by the way.
