Looking for website about neck pu on Strat
« on: January 14, 2010, 04:48:30 AM »

Hi people, first post here

I hope someone can help

About a year ago I saw a website that said something about a Fender Stratocaster neck pickup producing a "pure tone" This means all the overtones missing, its physics terminology

I've searched for hours but I can't find this website again. It wasn't about guitars really but probably to do with vibrations like you would learn in a physics classroom

Can anyone help me find it again?

cheers!

I've never heard of such a website or pickups. I use Brierley pickups hand wound here in good ole South Australia
and they are crystal clear cleans and crunchy articulate with gain as well.
